Little Known Facts About Alaska: SCIENCE EDITION

Hey gang! Ready for some LITTLE KNOWN SCIENCE FACTS ABOUT ALASKA?

-As one of the most pristine and unsettled states, Alaska is enormously important to biologists studying wildlife in its natural habitat. Unfortunately, this has affected the natural food chain of Alaska’s indigenous species, many of which now rely on a steady diet of biologists for survival.

-Deceased senator Ted Stevens reportedly possessed a ruby that could only be crushed under the heel of an honest man. Scientists were unable to confirm this theory, however, as they could find no honest men in the Alaska state government.

-While it is true that global warming has already had drastic effects above the Arctic Circle, most Alaskans actually welcome global climate change with open arms. Over the next forty years, scientists expect Alaska to become a sun-drenched beach paradise, and smart investors are already hard at work branding Alaska as the “California of the Future.” This primarily includes building high-rise condominiums on the approximately fifteen square miles that are expected to survive the “super-floods” of the mid twenty-first century.
